The greater part of the eastern boundary is formed by Darby Creek. To strive for professionalism by maintaining the highest performance standards possible through training and education, utilizing all resources available. Darby township is situated in the northwest corner of Pickaway County, being north of Monroe and Muhlenberg townships and west of Scioto and Muhlenberg. To be recognized as a leader and role model in emergency services for our area. We will achieve this by providing excellent and compassionate service in an atmosphere that encourages innovation, professional development, and diversity. The Marysville Division of Fire is committed to serving the community with the highest level of life and property protection. These inspections include businesses, schools, and special events. The Fire Prevention division is staffed by 3 personnel that conduct approximately 800 inspections annually. The Fire Division responds to approximately 3,800 incidents annually and is an active participant in automatic aid locally, as well as statewide mutual aid system. The Fire Division is a progressive “all risk” organization. In 20 the City opened two new fire stations, replacing a single facility that served the division for thirty eight years. The Fire Division is comprised of 60 dedicated staff members assigned to Administration, Operation and Fire Prevention. The Marysville Division of Fire proudly protects 30,000 people living in City of Marysville, Paris, Dover, and a portion of Darby townships.
